Welcome to the web site of the Society of Korean Dance Studies.

Since its beginning in 1981, the Society of Korean Dance Studies has played an integral role in the academic studies of Korean dance.

Assuming the position of its new president is both a tremendous honor and a humbling burden. It is my fervent intention to follow the footsteps of my predecessors in developing the Society of Korean Dance Studies by creating new milestones and keeping alive the tradition of Korean dance.

Matters for consideration will be fully shared and discussed with the council before decisions are made. I　ask you, the members of the Society of Korean Dance Studies, to support myself and the council in making this society an even greater one.
